Basic Mountain Bike Skills Courses
We run two types of basic mountain bike skills courses, one at Cannock Chase and the other in the Peak District.
The Cannock Chase course is aimed at riders who want to learn the skills involved with tackling the type of terrain found at most purpose built mountain bike trails, singletrack, roots, gravel, ruts, and mud. This will then allow you to have the confidence to visit some of the more challenging mountain bike centres that are now so popular up and down the country. The Peak District
course is more challenging, and is
aimed at people who want to be able to pick up a map and go
and explore. The terrain is more intense, but as the route is broken
down and discussed, you will soon start to see the path through. By
the end of the day we aim to have you confident enough to deal with
any type of terrain that that you are likely to come across.
Which ever one of the courses you choose, you are guaranteed to leave with a new found sense of achievement and confidence, and looking forward to your next venture off road. The courses start at 10.00am, so aim to be there around 9.30, and finish around 3.00pm. We will supply you with a packed lunch, but please bring with you plenty of fluids and any extra food that you may require. The price per person for the course is £60 (£51.06 exc. Vat ) including lunch, and we can also supply you with a bike and helmet if required at a cost of £15.00 (£12.77 exc. Vat) per person. If you require anymore information regarding the basic mountain bike courses, please Contact us for further details.
