Mountain biking in the Staffordshire Moorlands

Rockin !

If you like rocks or want more experience of riding over rocks this rides for you. Starting a few miles south of Buxton this route use's the old pack horse tracks that cross the borders of Derbyshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire. Enjoy spectacular views over the Cheshire plain and Goyt Valley before descending on some excellent trails. To book on this ride click here.

 

Hound Kirk and the Edge

Make sure you bring your camera for this one. Based just north of Hathersage at the end of the Hope Valley, this ride delivers excellent views of Sheffield on one side and Kinder Scout and the Hope Valley on the other. This is a good ride for developing your skills on, as it has plenty of line choices. You can go for the more difficult terrain as your confidence grows, then put your skills to the test on the final descent of the day. Bakewell Tart

Starting from the popular tourist town of Bakewell, this ride has it all. Singletrack descents through the woods, old carriageways, quarry tracks and through the Chatsworth house estate, this is a perfect ride to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town and see some of the lesser known attractions of this area. Hart to Hart

Starting in the picturesque village of Hartington, discover the network of bridleways and green lanes that riddle this area. Whilst not being the most technical of rides, this route is ideal for people who want to ride somewhere new and have an enjoyable day out riding their bike in the countryside. The price per person for the guided mountain bike rides is £60 (£51.06 exc. Vat ) including lunch, and we can also supply you with a bike and helmet if required at a cost of £15.00 per person
